Tariro is the oldest of three children. She shares a home with both of her parents. Her father works as a sculptor in the Tengenenge art community, and like many other artists, the COVID-19 pandemic has had an impact on his financial situation. Tariro's father now struggles to fend for himself and his family as a result of this. Taririo's mother is out of work. Tariro sells snacks at school during the school day to help support her family. Her favourite topic, ironically, is commerce, and she aspires to be an accountant.
Even though school was closed due to the global lockdown and there were no online learning resources available, she demonstrated her determination to not fall behind by tutoring herself and her peers. She possesses a wide-ranging intellect. The Tengenege community has a high rate of adolescent pregnancies and teen marriages, but Tariro has made it clear that she does not want to be a statistic, and instead wants to be the first in her family to attend university.
