Faristage Nyanhamo, the second of six siblings, lives with both of her parents, who face financial challenges in supporting her education and their large family. Despite these hardships, Faristage has shown remarkable academic promise. She excelled in primary school, ranking as the second-best student in her Grade Seven class at Somerset Primary School.
