Winstay is the eldest of three siblings. Tragically, she lost her younger brother two years ago in a fire. She lives with her mother, who is currently unemployed. Witnessing the shortage of medical assistance in Zimbabwe has inspired Winstay to pursue a career as a doctor, as she wants to help others in her community. She attends Honde Valley Mission School.
