Takudzwa lives in Tengenenge a remote village with her parents and her young brother. She is the first child in a family of two. The father is the breadwinner for the family and works as a driver at a local mine. The salary is that, which the family depends upon but it cannot cater for books for the children, food adequately for the family and this makes the mother participate in food for work programs. Takudzwa plays soccer and shows interest in athletics. He sometimes suffers from problems of nose bleeding.
