Lucia is the eldest in a family of two and lives in Tengenenge, a rural area 250 km away from Harare. Lucia's father supports the family from his meagre income which he gets from working at the mine. The family faces challenges in having adequate food throughout the year and getting enough basic needs. Lucia is now in grade 7 and plays netball for the school team.
